Overview
HIVE (Human-Driven Innovation and Venture Exploration Lab) is operated by IvoryCloud. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information when you use the HIVE platform.
HIVE is an internal enterprise innovation portal. Access is typically limited to authorized organizational users signing in with Microsoft Azure Active Directory (Entra ID).
Information We Collect
Identity and account data from Azure AD sign-in, such as display name, email address, and directory object identifiers needed to authenticate and authorize you.
Profile details you choose to store in HIVE (for example contact phone, if provided).
Operational content you submit or manage in HIVE, including innovation ideas, project records, tickets, progress updates, and related metadata (timestamps, status, assignees).
Technical logs needed to operate and secure the service (for example application errors and request diagnostics). We do not sell personal data.
How We Use Information
To authenticate users, enforce role-based access, and deliver HIVE features (idea submission, project tracking, tickets, and related workflows).
To send service notifications related to projects, tickets, or account activity when email delivery is configured.
To maintain, secure, and improve the platform, including troubleshooting and preventing abuse.
Security
Authentication uses Microsoft Azure AD (Entra ID). Authorization decisions (roles and permissions) are enforced by HIVE using application data, not client-asserted claims alone.
Database access uses parameterized queries. Secrets and connection credentials are kept in server-side environment configuration and are not exposed to the browser.
HIVE is designed for enterprise use. Specific compliance certifications are not claimed by this draft; ask IvoryCloud for the current security posture for your engagement.
Retention
We retain account and project-related data for as long as needed to operate HIVE for your organization, meet contractual or legal obligations, and resolve disputes. Retention schedules may vary by customer agreement.
Your Choices
You may update certain profile fields in HIVE where that capability is available. To request access, correction, or deletion of personal data held in HIVE, contact the address below. Requests may be subject to organizational and legal requirements.
